CDM Coordinator & Health & Safety Trainer
Callsafe Services are currently seeking to expand our team and have vacancies for an experienced CDM Coordinator and a Construction Health and Safety Trainer.
CDM Co-ordinator
The CDMC position is to support our recently renewed contract with a major client throughout England, but would also be available for support to our other CDMC appointments. Ideally, the person required would also be an experienced and qualified trainer.
- Must be RMaPS (CDMC)
- Must be CMIOSH or MIIRSM/FIIRSM
- Must have 10 years' experience as a Planning Supervisor/CDMC
- Must demonstrate experienced in construction site health and safety inspections and audits
- Must have an appropriate technical qualification (Civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (preferred)
- Registered on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) (preferred)
Construction Health and Safety Trainer
The trainer position would require similar experience and qualifications as the CDMC, with at least 5 years' experience as a trainer, and be qualified to at least PTLLS or equivalent standard. The trainer would also provide CDMC and consultancy services as a secondary part of the function.

- Must have an appropriate technical background (Civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (preferred)
- Registered on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) (preferred)
- Five years' experience as a trainer, providing vocational training of courses of up to 5 days duration
- Qualified to at least PTLLS or equivalent standard

The selection process shall be as follows:
- Review of CV and qualifications
- Telephone interview with the Managing Director
- Personal interview at our offices with Directors, including a short (20-30 minutes) presentation on a CDM subject prepared by the interviewee, selected by the Managing Director.
