New Pricing Options for ToolKit CS™
Ai Solutions is very aware that Clients are all being told to do more with less money and that it is a tough job to fulfil health & safety requirements with capped budgets. We are therefore pleased to be able to offer our ToolKit™ Compliance System under two new pricing options. We can now provide a compliance tool to manage CDM or Asbestos processes in-house in an even more cost efficient way.
ToolKit CS™ is for managing Asbestos or CDM, the Construction (Design Management) processes to meet the Health & Safety Executive's regulations. Available via the internet, all our options offer storage of all operational data regarding asbestos or CDM projects on a single database. Information, document management and knowledge management are all available by authorised users including the "client's" administrative team.
ToolKit CS™ is designed to meet the needs of large corporate organisations, medium sized enterprises or smaller businesses including consultants working on their own. Our latest Enterprise offering is a new innovation for clients wanting to manage their business across the web at lower cost by using our new combo-licenses. These licenses allow delivery of savings to our ToolKit CS™ Enterprise users.
At the lower end of the scale we have a new entry level package for 1 or 3 concurrent users.

August Talk on Savings
With less than 10 weeks in the chair, our new government has made a number of announcements that are bound to change the way that most of us do business; they may even change the way we look at business (let's hope so).
I have it on good authority, from the Daily News for IT Professionals at Computer Weekly (20 Jul 10), to whom I remain indebted for this snippet of information; "The government has told IT suppliers that it wants them to reduce the cost of contracts to government departments".
Now, as it happens, they (the government) haven't told us yet, but as you may have read elsewhere, we have been proactive, innovative, and taken a cost cutting approach to our business costs and our offerings. We have recognised that to continue to be successful, we too have to change how we do business. Blessed with superb staff, who contribute massively to our business, we continue to be in good shape to service our loyal customers. We have reduced the cost of our new business contracts already.
However, the Daily News for IT Professionals at Computer Weekly goes on to make another potentially bigger point by saying; "It could be the government that has to change the most".
I cannot tell you how many times we have 'banged the drum' for joined up working in local government. Joined Up Working, the 'Silo mentality', cross departmental working, keeping information to ourselves, failing to join up the dots, not recognising the processes required to move forward rather than to stand still. These are all elements of the disease that, managed badly, stifles progress and wastes money.
The majority of managers we work with in local government understand these issues perfectly well and most of them successfully manage their way around them. Some cannot and are too hemmed in by the 'system' to make reasonable progress; this is where the real savings can be made.
As I said, let's hope so. Let's hope that the changes forced on us by the current financial crisis provide a more open, supportive management style in government. A style that enables us, as IT suppliers, to continue to help government departments make the savings that are there for the making; and have been for too long.
Some Good News
And now for some good news!
We are pleased to announce that one of our team, the former Shirley Cirket, got married on July 10th to Gary Radford.
Shirley has been with Ai Solutions now for more than four years and we were happy and very honoured to attend the wedding, which was wonderful. And as you can see from the photo, the happy couple looked really content and Shirley looked stunning.
We are sure you would all like to add your congratulations to the new Mrs Radford and her husband!
