ToolKit CS™ has been developed since its inception in the early 1990’s as a management tool for health and safety compliance.
Initially, the needs of the CDM regulations were addressed with an integrated document management system, project database and supporting knowledge base. This approach was popular with CDM users and led to the development of further versions using better, more functional development and supporting software made available principally by Microsoft in the intervening years.
Following the successful launch of CDM ToolKit™ 2000, the application software was redesigned as ToolKit CS™ or Compliance System. This was to allow connectivity to SQL, the largest database engine available and for web access because Ai Solutions recognised the imminent arrival of new health & safety regulations for the management of asbestos. The potential size of property management databases and the known needs of users meant that users would need both SQL and web browser access for the product to be successful in the long term.
The web interfaces allow permissioned access to CDM or Asbestos Management data, documents and attachments.
