The current economic climate is providing most of us with little good news. We would like to buck this trend by supplying you with some items which are all very good news. Good news for us as a supplier but more importantly, good news for you as our clients.
Many of you know we had an outstandingly good year in 2008. Part of that success was with a major London Borough and our ability to supply them with our first 'hosted solution'. In the Client's words;
"Now LBH has the Hosted Solution in place we no longer have any internal IT constraints in regard to CDM management. This new technology allows us to access our data anywhere at any time and also allows us to provide access to key documents for external Contractors in a simple manner. No more paper documents; we provide 'real-time'' information in a controlled manner to those that really need it."

The solution has been resilient, reliable, many times faster than the in-house network solution that it replaced, and the organisation has taken more and more training, document management systems development and project management as a result.
We also have a satisfied Asbestos user on our hosted solution. They are providing access to their surveying partners, who in turn are getting more and more involved in the systems and training involved. They are all getting increased service levels from the process and the cost savings delivered through better information, documentation and the use of shared data. So that is all very good news.
We are now in a position to offer some of our 'smaller' ToolKit CS™ users a route to the hosted solution so that they can share the many benefits of this approach as well. The benefits include a freeing up of dependence on internal and especially external IT providers and at a cost that will be attractive to them. We are contacting those users who we believe may be interested in this approach but ask that you contact us too if you would like more immediate attention. We think this is good news as well.
Our MARM (Major Account Review Meeting) on Tuesday 9th June 2009 will give us the opportunity to explain and promote some of the benefits of hosting to our larger clients. We already have a substantial list of attendees. The meeting will be discussing the 'Joined Up Working' issue; again using our hosted solution and how that can now be provided. We hope to demonstrate how our new product is progressing too and the opportunities that development represents to our customers. More good news.
However, the life blood of any business is the new business that it attracts over time. 2009 is ensuring that this remains the hardest nut to crack for most businesses. Our solution is to provide the best ever offer for new ToolKit users, CDM and Asbestos, using of course, our hosted solution. We have attached a press release and a management brief for those of you who are interested in learning more about our new offering which is available initially from May to September 2009. Now, that has to be good news!

London Marathon Success for Nick
Nick, who many of you know is one of our support and training coordinators, successfully completed the London Marathon and gained his all-important medal. He was aiming to run the course in under 3 hours, but turned in a time of 3 hours 24 minutes. A really outstanding achievement, particularly as there was doubt that he would run, due to an injury problem.
If you would like to show your appreciation of his efforts to support the Macmillan Nurses that would be even more good news!
