I wonder what we will each remember the year 2000 for? And was it just a practice for the real new century year, 2001? Whichever way you look at it, it is nearly all over and the 'opportunity' of 2001 is very nearly (I nearly said virtually) with us.
And what an opportunity we have. The construction industry is, we are told, booming. Most of our customers are so busy they hardly have time to talk to us. The IT industry is booming (no more talk of year 2000 problems this year!), with new innovative solutions hitting our desks all the time. Our CDM ToolKit™ 2000 product is working better than ever with Service Release 5 onboard. Our new cdmUK.com web site is expanding and accepting more new enquiries every day. In fact we have nearly doubled our hits each month since August. So next year should be really good for all of us?
As we visit more and more of our customers to discuss their needs and our ongoing product developments, it becomes clear that there is a perception problem. We can already deliver all the benefits that customers are looking for; we just don't seem to be able to get the message across.
One of the issues is the ease by which users can access the new site. We have now made this really easy, so please give us another 'visit' if you have not been to the site recently. Another issue is the number of benefits that are currently deliverable;
As promised, the planned completion date for Phase One of the cdmUK.com product development is 15 Dec 00. On that date, the very liberal tariff for CDM ToolKit 2000 customers becomes a little less liberal. So this would be a very good time to start publishing those projects and getting to know the new site.
We are setting up a number of pilot projects with some of our customers to help them through an evaluation process with their external suppliers. We would be happy to talk our proposals through with you if you would like to contact us before the 15th. Our aim is to have a number of projects running over the holiday period so that users can visit the new site during that period when hopefully they are less pressured with office work!
Everyone who registers during the next few weeks will be given free tokens worth £15; if you complete the evaluation questionnaire we will credit you with another £15 worth too. This is allow anyone completing the now very simple registration process to start using the service without delay.
Please note that we have now finalised our year 2001 Price Book which includes several important changes. With more and more features available in the CDM ToolKit 2000 product, we have now simplified the product offering from standalone to multi-site corporate versions. We have increased the base prices (including training) and these will be published on www.cdmtoolkit.com in due course. If you are considering an upgrade or training, you might like to order it before 20 December 2000 and qualify for this year's Price Book prices. And remember, we always credit the originally paid price when upgrading. Please contact us for details.
Our success depends on YOU! Please spread the word about our new cdmUK.com initiative to all your colleagues and customers. If we can help you to do that, please let us know. Please spread the word, the world of CDM is changing!
The team here at Ai Solutions would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
