Asbestos Waste 'will be removed' Environment Agency Pledges
16 May 2012
BBC news reports that Asbestos waste, that was excavated during an operation to recover the body of a horse which had fallen into the shaft near Redruth in February, is going to be removed.
Residents were very concerned about the hazard to their health but the Environment Agency said it was a "relatively small amount" which would be removed, although no date was given.
