Site Fire Arrangements

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 require that all construction sites have suitable arrangements in place to:

  • detect fire
  • to fight fire
  • to warn of fire
  • to escape from fire

These can be very simple arrangements on a small site or very complex ones on a large site. Where extinguishers are provided staff must be trained to use them. It is necessary to be able to demonstrate that such arrangements have been, or will be made and the Site Fire Arrangements Form serves this purpose.

Once completed, a copy of the form should be brought to the attention of all on site and a copy should be displayed on the site notice board.
