We would like to announce that we are holding our 2012 Health & Safety Conference. The strapline this year is 'Collaborative Working Within Health & Safety'. This prestigious event will be held at the RAF Club, Piccadilly, London on 12th April 2012.
We are very pleased to announce our keynote presentation is from Professor Ragnar Löfstedt (Director for Kings Centre for Risk Management, Kings College London). The 'Löfstedt Report' which was published in November 2011 'reclaiming health and safety for all', was an independent review of health and safety legislation, this report was well received within the industry. The government has responded to Professor Ragnar's recommendations and have proposed timescales for implementation.

There will be an update from the HSE as well as the latest advice on asbestos, CDM, SWMP's, and Vendor Assessment management. It is an excellent opportunity to ask the experts in their field any questions you may have in regard to the latest legislation or any issues you have encountered within your own environment. Olympics: H&S Lessons Learned
The HSE have asked us all to 'learn' from the good practice at the Olympics. The culture of health and safety leadership, combined with open dialogue with workers, leading to a safer environment where less acccidents occured. The ODA's top-level commitment to health and safety was apparent from the start and helped create a safe working environment for the thousands of workers on site.
Ai Solutions has always stated that Health & Safety needs to be lead as a 'top down approach'. Our ToolKit CS product is designed for all levels of user but is lead by a CDM management console that states where non-compliance is an issue. The fact that the Olympics has been delivered on time, within budget and with less accidents just shows how important senior management's involvement is in the CDM management process.
