As we enter our ninth trading year, we are surrounded by a mixture of hope, optimism and dire warnings about the UK business economy and market indicators including the housing market. Confusing isn't it!
We are celebrating our successes for 2002 having now delivered our first update to ToolKit CS™ to one of our major customers, Transport for London - Street Management Division. This is a major update, running ToolKit CS™ across several sites and includes cdmUK.com access and a native SQL database.
We will be continuing to support our customers in 2003 with our products and services. We are planning the introduction of several new products during the year including our Enterprise solutions. This will come as good news to many of our customers wanting to use their Internet and intranet browsers to access CDM and Asbestos management information via the ToolKit CS™. We will be adding to our Partnerships too, so that we are able to deliver even more value to our customers.
Ai Solutions are looking forward to another really successful year and hope that you and all our customers can join us in that success. Happy New Year!
Ai Solutions & Heald Solicitors form asbestos focussed partnership
We are very pleased to announce a new partnership with the well respected firm; Heald Solicitors. Heald solicitors will supply the legal framework whilst Ai Solutions will provide the software tool to manage the process.
Heald solicitors is one of the largest law firms in the area with offices in Bedford and Milton Keynes. It has a specialist construction team. The firm recognises the use of IT in business to increase the speed of implementation of the new regulations. Headed up by Caroline Wilton, the team has taken a keen interest in working with us over many months.
Urgency is the key to dealing with the new asbestos regulations if the millions of building managers in the UK want to keep on the right side of the Law. We know that many of our customers are concerned about the legal implications and Heald solicitors are the specialised experts who can help.
We will be holding a free joint seminar in Milton Keynes on the 6th March to launch this partnership. Please get in touch if you would like further details.
2002 closed with some better news regarding injuries to construction industry employees, according to the latest Health & Safety Statistics report.
The number of non-fatal major injuries fell by 8% to 3,959; while the number of over-three-day injuries dropped by 4% to 9,013. However, injuries to self-employed construction workers increased dramatically. Major injuries were up 29% to 521 and over-three-day injuries rose by 34% to 574.
Our next Construction Industry Seminar will be held at Bletchley Park on Thursday 10th April 2003. The agenda will include presentations by the HSE, our Partners and ourselves. We will have more details in the February Newsletter; please book the date in your new 2003 diary now!
