As the taut tennis racquet strings of Wimbledon twang to a crescendo, many will be looking forward to the lazy hazy days of summer. For us though, July marks the start of what we hope will be a roller coaster ride with our new product Asbestos ToolKit CS™. Helping people with health & safety is an issue which is close to our hearts and if the feedback from Interbuild, BIOH and the Seeboard Planning Supervisors Conference is anything to go by, you already know this. To the rest of the million and a half people who need to play their part in the new Asbestos Management Regulations due in August, we would like to help you too!
Managing the Risks from asbestos in the workplace is no trivial task. For all but the 'simplest' sites, the requirement for a management policy and implementation plan is paramount. For more complex organisations, project management will almost certainly provide the most effective use of resources and save a substantial share of the estimated £4-80b cost of the new regulations over the next 10 years. We can offer you a head start with each of these issues with our new products and services available now.
We are pleased to announce that our plans to release Asbestos ToolKit CS™ on 28 June 2002 and the re-written CDM ToolKit CS™ at the end of July 2002 are on schedule. Our web site has outline details of both these products and we are holding free product briefings (see below).
Our new Asbestos ToolKit CS™ is ready to deliver benefits to you now. This is a management database to run your asbestos register across your networks. It is delivered with controlled, profiled access for the many individuals who will need to access it. From the CEO to the visiting onsite tradesmen requiring occasional access, the profiles allow your administrator to set the system up appropriately for your use. Management and monitoring are each handled through the same updateable database with a report generator to meet your specific needs if the standard reporting is insufficient.
Come and review the product at one of our free Product Briefings and gain access to our free evaluation software.
We are holding a series of open product briefing sessions for our new ToolKit CS™ product at our Leighton Buzzard headquarters. Our next session is on Tuesday 9th July and Wed 24th July at 2.30 – 4.30pm. Please contact us if you interested in attending.
The HSE are about to provide their Awareness Campaign course material for registered partners, including ourselves. Brian Trevette, the HSE's Awareness Campaign coordinator, has again made his latest newsletter available to our readers via our web site.
We are setting up courses to deliver this material and taking bookings. Delegate rates will be £95 plus VAT for courses at our Leighton Buzzard headquarters. In house rates for delivery at your location are available on request.
Please note that our next seminar is booked for Thursday 3rd October 2002 at a very interesting location in the Milton Keynes area. Still 'under wraps', this will be a very special occasion for us and will major on our new product and our new partners. Please make a note of the date in your diary now and watch out for details to be released later in the year.
Our June Newsletter asked for contact with your ESRI – CAPS Uniform representative if you have one. We are still trying to contact you if you have not responded!
The HSE Awareness Campaign is about to kick in and we are a provider in that programme. We look forward to requests to deliver that programme as it is rolled out.
