Our User Forum on 30th September 99 was the best attended Forum we have had. We are very encouraged by the response and feedback we have had from our users, some of whom tell us they found the session extremely useful. Some found the new format with guest speakers particularly helpful. We are considering the format for our next session and would appreciate any feedback you would care to send us. We look forward to the next session scheduled for Thursday 30th March 2000 and hope you can join us too!
The CDM ToolKit 2000 Service Release 3 is now well under way as our Forum attendees saw for themselves. We are about to go out to Beta Test with our Early Birds, and depending on how the external testing progresses, we will put the version on General Release in about 4 weeks time.
The version contains a number of significant Enhancements including:
In addition, we will be offering the Permissions Option. This will allow Administrators to set up any number of groups of users who can have specified access levels. This Option will be available for network users.
The Briefcase and Forms Editor Options are not part of this release.
As we announced at the User Forum, we are about to offer a new Brand for Property Managers called the Maintenance Manual. This will be a 'sister' brand to the Planning Supervisor, Designer and Contractor Brands which are currently available. The new brand will be available as a paid for addition to existing Corporate licenses.
We are working on our Price Book for next year. This will include the new / proposed Options and Brands. We will post this on our web pages in due course. Please contact us if you have any immediate queries.
We started this month with an office move into some very pleasant premises in Leighton Buzzard. This was a local move for us into accommodation which is well suited to our needs. We have access to a well appointed presentation room for pre-sales work, training seminars and so on and look forward to telling you about our plans as they develop.
Please note that our e-mail address, postal address and phone number remains the same. Our New Fax number is 08700 88 16 14.
The move has prompted a new approach to communications generally. With about 90% of our users now on e-mail, we are trying to re-orientate our 'mail-out'. You may be interested to know we have found a supplier who will convert our incoming Faxes into e-mail. This means that all our fax messages appear on our desktops via the e-mail server. We do not need a fax machine or a fax line. The new fax number is 08700 88 16 14. The provider is http://www.faxme.co.uk and so far we are very happy with their services.
Our training sessions are progressing well with more and more organisations taking advantage of our CDM ToolKit 2000 training courses. We have announced our new Training Courses which are:
Courses are available from £95 per person half day session at Ai Solutions Ltd, or on site where a minimum charge applies depending on location.
We have completed visits to about half of our customer base in the past few months and look forward to improving on this in the next quarter. We are always pleased to hear from you to discuss how you are using the CDM ToolKit and to find out how we can help. Please contact us if we can help you further.
