Our 2007 annual conference will be held in London on Wednesday 18th April 2007 at the Royal Air Force Club Piccadilly.
Our keynote speaker will be Richard Boland, from the Health & Safety Executive, in his new role as Head of Construction Operations, London and the South East. He will be talking about the new CDM 2007 Regulations. Richard was instrumental in putting these regulations together and directing them through the various consultative stages including the CONIAC committee before taking up his new operational role in London. He does, therefore have a unique view to bring to the conference as both designer and operator of the changes that effect everyone in construction including, notably, the client.
Other guest speakers will focus on the changes for clients, CDM-C's and contractors and discuss how different organisations are addressing the management of compliance. In particular, we will hope to include a presentation from one of our customers, to illustrate how they are addressing the changes. John Murphy will demonstrate how we are linking our clients into the CHAS scheme. Our partners will discuss how our new CDM compliance service provides a "wrap around" for corporate clients consisting of, ToolKit™ Compliance Software, integrated CDM Training, and most importantly, quarterly external audits.
