Falling objects are another common occurrence that often cause injury. Under regulation 29 the relevant contractor must so far as is reasonably practicable ensure that arrangements are made to control any risk of a person’s being struck by falling objects at or in the vicinity of a construction site. The contractor must make sure all those working on site are aware of the hazards and ensure that they take care while working. The use of Toolbox talks is a good way of reminding those on site of the dangers.
