If a client requires the design or construction to be done by a party that is not within the borders of Jersey then the Client is responsible for making sure that anyone employed follows the Jersey regulations.

For overseas Designers the Client, or the person commissioning the work, needs to ensure that regulation 10 is complied with. For more information see Designer Duties.
