Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970

These are old regulations under the Factories Act of 1961 and have been revoked and superseded by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER98). The requirements for the safety of abrasive wheels has not changed significantly by this change in law, however, the HSE guidance document, HSG17, entitled Safety in the use of Abrasive Wheels, has been revised in line with PUWER98 and re-issued.
