Hazards

The potential to cause harm, e.g. a bottle of bleach on a shelf in a cupboard is a hazard. Only when taken down to be used does it constitute a number of risks.

From a CDM viewpoint, substances can include articles, substances, plant or machines, methods of work, the working environment and other aspects of work organisation.
