Introduction

Within the arrangements of the contract, temporary site accommodation will be required. To conform with the requirement of the Construction (Health Safety & Welfare) Regulations, the client must ensure that the principal contractor has the opportunity to make proper provision for welfare facilities.

Identify:

  • Area set aside for site accommodation. Where possible this should be 10 metres away from the proposed structure in order to provide a fire break and also remote from areas set aside for hazardous substances and LPG containers.
  • Facilities made available by the client.
