New Year Resolutions
We are looking forward to a great 2008 and hope that you are too. As is customary for the time of year, we are busy planning our business time and we have come up with a number of important 'resolutions' which the Ai Solutions Team would like to share with you.
- Customer Reviews - we are planning to arrange these with all our customers this year, so that we can get your feedback and discover how to help you get more from our products and services. Our theme for 2008 is about working together to deliver even better value from our ToolKit CS™ and associated products.
- Enhanced Training - as all our new customers know, we now provide an integrated training package that accommodates at least some training within our annual renewals. Our aim is to encourage all our 'older' customers to take up this option so that they too can benefit from our new training courses and get more from our products and services.
- Major Account Meetings - we intend to hold two meetings in 2008 and look forward to welcoming even more of our customers to these important events so that you can 'share' views and network with other users.
- Annual Conference - Our flagship Annual Conference is booked at the ever popular Royal Air Force Club in Piccadilly London for Tuesday 22 April 2008. Andrew East, HSE, has kindly agreed to be the guest speaker to update us on the CDM Regulations. With a very early Easter this is four weeks after the Easter Weekend and should be after the (delayed) school holidays. Please reserve the date now so that you can be available to book the date following the February Newsletter.
- Seminars and Events - We will be contacting you with details of our seminar and workshop programme in due course. Our web site will be updated with the relevant information as soon as we are ready to publish it so please keep an eye out for that. If you subscribe to our blog you will get an automated notification too!
- Competent Supplier - We are regularly complimented by our users on our own competence which is very encouraging. With the first anniversary of the new CDM Regulations approaching on 1 April, there are important issues for our construction and estate related customers to address. The most onerous is the need to not only be competent in whatever aspect of CDM you are engaged in, you need to a able to 'prove' your competence as well. You will need evidence of procedures, or processes, or audits, or a combination of these. ToolKit Users are well aware of the benefits of our products and how they can help them in this regard. If you need help, now is the time to ask.
Callsafe Newsletter
Gemma has included an excellent review of 2007 in the Callsafe December newsletter.
Looking at 2008, she mentions the Corporate Manslaughter bill that is expected to become Law in April this year. We expect to pick up on this at our various seminars and our annual conference and I am sure many of our users will be critically interested in this issue.
An Extra Day
Have you decided what to do with your extra day at work this year? The 29th February is a Friday. Just thought you would like to know!
More Information
We regularly receive updates from our customers and contacts about changes to legislation, the latest rumours and so on. We try to be selective with what we pass on and acknowledge our sources as appropriate. If you have information of general interest in the Health & Safety, and particularly, CDM and Asbestos Management arena, then please let us know by e-mail if possible.
