Social Networking: Join for Health & Safety News
As our regular users are aware, Ai Solutions like to keep abreast of new technologies. We are surrounded by new and emerging technologies aimed principally at consumers; some have applications for commercial users too. Others can be adapted. The issue as ever, is, "so what?". How can these new technologies actually help us. For instance, if all our employees are spending a substantial amount of the working day engaged in social networking, with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and the like, many managers will question the amount of business benefit being delivered. But there is an upside.
Good communication has always been the issue that separates the successful from the crowd. In this regard, our social networking providers are doing us a massive favour. Facebook allows users to produce a web site online in moments; Twitter users can divert any number of people to an event with a well chosen "tweet" in hours or even minutes. So these tools can be very powerful and indeed dangerous in "inappropriate hands"; there are many war stories on how things can go dramatically wrong. But this is the essence of the issue, used well, with the appropriate approach to the risks involved, we believe these tools can deliver business benefits. We would like you to help us find out how this can be achieved and where the boundaries lie.
We have set up links so that our readers currently using LinkedIn or Twitter can join in with our research! If you are already on one or more of these sites then all you have to do to receive news, blogs and notifications is to "follow" us through the links provided on each website.
March 2011 Workshop
Our ToolKit CS users like advance warning of the following scheduled events for 2011. The events are all free of charge.
- Major Account Review Meetings
- User Workshops
We would like all our customers to come to one of the review meetings so that we can continue to work together to enhance ToolKit CS™ to meet the changing needs of organisations with the 2007 CDM regulations.
Our User Workshops provide an excellent opportunity to see the pre-release version of our 6 monthly product updates, with some instruction, so that users can be well prepared for the installed product shortly after the events. Our next workshop is on Tuesday 22nd March 2011, please call early on 01525 850080 to reserve your place!
