Developer’s Corner

Have you ever had a problem getting documents to fit on pages easily, and ended up spending time trying to put carriage returns and page breaks into your sections? The ToolKit™ uses the 'Section Split' function in Print Preview to make this easier for you.

When previewing your document

  1. Select 'Page Setup' (second button from the left)
  2. Select the 'Section' tab and turn on 'Split Section over page'
  3. Adjust the default option by changing the percentage from 80%

If a previous section finishes 80% or more down the page, then the following test is applied;

If the next section will not fit in the remainder of the page, then the new section will start on the next page.

The 80% can be adjusted to suit the user's requirements.
