CDM Co-ordinator

Under CDM2007, the CDM co-ordinator was a person appointed for the project by the client. This was the augmented duty holder known as the planning supervisor under CDM1994.

The CDM co-ordinator advised and assisted the client on construction health and safety risk management matters and ensured design co-ordination and facilitates communication and cooperation between the project team members.

In CDM 2015, the duties of this role are now carried out by the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor.
