New £7m Construction Skills Centre in Cumbria

The Northwest Evening Mail reports that a new state-of-the-art facility centre has been built in Cumbria that aims to equip youngsters with the skills they need for a career in construction.

Work on the centre began in May last year and was completed by contractor Esh Construction on budget and ahead of schedule this March. It will become fully operational when the new academic year starts in September.

This is excellent news, particularly for the construction industry.
