Boris supports new "Garden" Bridge over Thames
13 June 2013
The mayor of London, Boris Jonson, is reportedly backing proposals for an iconic new "garden" bridge across the Thames, similar to New York's High Line elevated park.
The plans for the new bridge include an elaborate, widening and narrowing along its span and it will support a park containing plants from London and across Britain.
The new structure will cross the river from Victoria Embankment on the north bank of the Thames at Temple, between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridges.
It looks like being a very interesting and innovative project with many CDM related issues. We look forward to hearing more about it.
