CDM ToolKit CS™ Licensing

Software for Managing the CDM Regulations 2007

License Options

CDM ToolKit CS™ is available in Standalone, Workgroup and Enterprise versions, and can optionally be supplied with our Asbestos management software for those who need to manage both the CDM 2007 and CAR 2006 regulations.

All versions are licensed with an annual training & support package giving users software updates, ongoing telephone support and training as appropriate. Licenses can be purchased for installation at your own site, or alternatively on our hosted servers.

Standalone

Our Standalone product is available for non-network use and for laptop, netbook or tablet PCs.

Workgroup

This level offers concurrent user licences for departmental network use with an optional Microsoft SQL Server database.

Enterprise

Our Enterprise product offers enhanced functionality over Workgroup licenses, including web-based access and a SQL Server database as standard.

Hosted Solution

In addition to offering licenses for installation at your own site,
Ai Solutions provide a hosted solution for CDM ToolKit CS™.

Our Essential ToolKit CS™ : Hosted Solution has been developed in response to Clients who want;

  • To be independent of internal IT support with all of the associated costs and issues.
  • To have a tried and tested solution to Health & Safety competence for CDM and Asbestos.
  • To hit the ground running with a functionally rich management solution backed by a competent supplier.
  • To save money on their management of CDM and / or asbestos; savings of 20% are highly achievable.

The Essential ToolKit CS™ : Hosted Solution requires internet access and Microsoft's standard Remote Desktop Connection software. There is no requirement for locally installed copies of our software.

Users will have similar functionality to regular CDM ToolKit™ and Asbestos ToolKit™ users but without the hassle of the IT department. The cost model is different too with availability on a simple to manage annual rental on a 3 or 5 year contract at affordable prices.

Benefits

The benefits of our Hosted Solution include:

  • All ToolKit CS™ software and database setup/upgrading is managed by Ai Solutions.
  • Clients will simply need to supply a standard workstation or laptop with internet access.
  • Clients will be able to manage their data online whilst allowing their contractors and other third parties, to access the relevant information through the web as appropriate.
  • Training and support is included in the package.
  • The package is available on a three or five year basis.

Annual Training & Support Package

To further improve the quality of our service delivery, we offer an Enhanced Training and Support package for all new customers. Existing customers are able to purchase the package on demand or at their annual renewal.

The package offers the following benefits for network customers:

  • Workshops, training, support and consultation at Ai Solutions and/or on site, for corporate clients
  • Bi-annual updates to application and knowledge base
  • Product support via telephone, email or internet remote support
  • Free access to our web site and Newsletters
  • Free & Paid For attendance to 'release workshops'
  • Annual Conference attendance at a reduced rate

Upgrade Policy

Customers receive updates to their product version as they are released. These are normally service releases and may include updates to the knowledge base and may include legislative changes. Service Releases provide a mechanism to keep all customers on the currently released version of their product.

Where customers wish to purchase additional licenses within an existing installed version, these licenses are made available by paying the difference between what they have already paid and the price of the new configuration excluding annual renewals.

Customers are offered upgrades from time to time to a newly released or later product. Ai Solutions will offer a credit for amounts paid for licensing, excluding annual renewals, within the past 12 months at the date of invoicing.
